Olivia & Alex tied the knot at the STUNNING Tyn Dwr Hall, set in heart of the North Wales countryside. Tyn Dwr is the perfect combination of Modern meets Medieval........ and I'm here for that!
Guests enter into Tyn Dwr Hall through the original part of the building (second picture) however, the actual Ceremony & Wedding Breakfast took place in the newer part of the building, which perfectly suited the Modern & Minimalist Nude Wedding Florals chosen by our gorgeous bride, Olivia.
At centre stage, in the Ceremony Room, stood the most beautiful fireplace! I don't think it's original but it's such a nice way to tie historical elements into the modern part of the building, and creates a natural ceremony backdrop. This means that at this particular venue, you can get away without a Floral Backdrop and save some cash!
As per with most ceremony set ups, the Table Flowers were used to the decorate the ceremony area. We used one of our gorgeous Flower Tower arrangements at the base of the Fireplace along with ruffles of delicate White Fabric, Cylinder Vases & Nude Tapered Candles supplied by Candle Flair.
We used the other two Flower Towers at the beginning of the aisle sat on clear plinths, along with our Trough Designs placed cutely at the bottom creating a Floral haven welcome for the Bride. The Signing Table had drapes of the gorgeous White Fabric, with a Trough Design, Votives, Mini Cylinders & Tapered Candles. Dreamy!
It may have been cloudy when we were setting up the Ceremony Room but just as we finished the set up, lots of beautiful light came flooding in and danced on the flowers and candles - so so beautiful! Just look at those gorgeous shadows ^^
From the get go, Olivia knew exactly what she wanted.
- Modern, Minimalist, Romantic, Delicate, Timeless & Luxurious -
Rather than using a large variation of Florals, we chose to keep to the 'Less is More' vibe and got creative with Roses, Orchids & Hydrangea, with hints of Dried Florals; Trailing Amaranthus, Ruscus & Miscanthus to bring in lots of Texture.
To add to the Timeless & Luxurious feel, we felt that Nudes & Whites would not only compliment the style we were trying to create but would also tie in beautifully with the venue, the Black Bridesmaids Dresses & the super slick Tux worn by Alex & his Groomsmen.
Alex's in particular was a rather fine Tux made of Black Velvet. I think I actually said 'This is the nicest Tux I've ever seen' whilst attaching his Buttonhole. To which he replied (riddled with pre wedding nerves) 'Thanks. I need a drink'.
We get it - it's a BIG day!!!
After using this Long & Low Design on the Fireplace, we when moved it onto the Sweetheart Top Table. We wanted to create a design that had lots of movement and brought all out all the gorgeous colours - just look at those Orchids!
And of course we brought over all the pretty styling accessories to tie everything together. The Guest Tables had a mixture of 3 Designs: Flower Towers, Troughs & Cylinder Vases. One thing that I always recommend is using a variation of designs throughout the room; this helps to bring in levels & makes the room look way more interesting for you and your guests!
The Styling for this Wedding was done by us, meaning that we supplied all the Styling Accessories: Stands, Votives, Candle Holders, Cylinders, etc. We also supplied Nude Napkin Knots for every Guest. Napkin Knots are a beautiful way of bringing out certain colours from your palette.
Olivia wanted to bring in accents of Gold into the Colours. To bring this through we sprayed painted our Sign Stand, along with some Tapered Candles Holders. Spraying accessories is a great way to bring in colours that don't naturally occur in the Florals.
